Responsibilities:

The administration is responsible for carrying out supervision and inspection to guarantee law enforcement, and clearance of all important products which are under jurisdiction of the SFDA.

Tasks:

• Supervision and inspection of the pharmaceutical facilities.
• Enforcing drug law and regulation
• Monitoring of the manufacturing, distribution and prescription practices of narcotic medications, and issuing its import licenses.
• Monitoring of narcotic medications consumption
• Clearance of incoming medications to the Saudi Arabia and its raw material
• Import license for unregistered medication

• Import license for narcotic medicines.
