On Friday 28, Italy ordered a recall of Mozzarella Cheese potentially contaminated with dioxin. The Italian government confirmed that the suspected product was not distributed abroad. France has lifted a ban which was temporarily imposed on sales of Mozzarella After receiving reassurances from Italy that the dioxin-contaminated product was not exported to any EU country.
