According to what has been lately raised in local and international media about banning one of energy drinks in some countries as it contains small amounts of Cocaine, the SFDA directly has followed this issue and withdrew some samples of the it to analyze it and make sure of its safety. In case of any breach to safety and health requirements, the SFDA will have the needed procedures; announce about, withdraw and ban such products.
It worth mention that KSA regulation demands registering all energy drinks as well as assuring their safety and conformity to the approved standards before circulating them in the kingdom; yet (Red Bull Cola) drink is not registered in the KSA.
