The SFDA Held the First Consultation Meeting of Medical Devices Officials in the GCC

The SFDA, represented by its Medical Devices Sector, held the first consultation meeting with officials and supervisors of medical devices and products administrations in the Ministries of Health that belong to Gulf Cooperating Countries, in the SFDA headquarter on Monday, 1-4-1429H, 7-4-2008.<br />During the meeting, the responsibilities of medical devices sector, duties, accomplishments and future plans that belong to monitoring medical devices and products have been enlightened. In addition, a session held with representatives of GCC to <br />discuss cooperation fields between Gulf Countries in order to ensure safety, quality and effectiveness of imported medical devices and products. At the end of the meeting, several recommendations have been set to enhance cooperation between GCC and exchange information about experiences and achievements of medical devices sectors.</p>
