SFDA Warns about Using Augmentin 1 GM run # 407525

<p>SFDA has collected several samples of Augmentin 1 GM run # 407525 antibiotic tablets for analysis in SFDA laboratories. Analysis results showed that this run does not contain the effective components (Amoxicillin/Clavulanate potassium).<br />Whereas the said drug was not released through SFDA and that it is free from the effective components, thus leading to deterioration of patients’ health. Therefore, it is advisable not to use this drug and to dispose of any quantities that may be in hand and report to SFDA about any quantities that may be available in the market ( Fake product can be recognized from the attached pictures) .<br />However, SFDA has addressed the concerned authorities in order to stop trading of this drug, recall it from the market and take the necessary disciplinary actions against violators.<br /></p>
