The First Constitutive Meeting of the Technical Committee of Gulf Medical Devices and Supplies (GSO / TC 11)

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA represented by Medical Devices and Products Sector hosted during the period (20-21\02\1435 AH, (24-25\12\2013 AD) the first Constitutive meeting for the Technical Committee of Gulf medical devices and supplies (GSO / TC 11) Chaired by KSA. The meeting was opened by a speech from Dr. Saleh Al- Tayar, Executive Vice President for Medical Devices and Products Sector wherein he pointed out to the importance of the work of this committee and its direct lead on the health and safety of the citizens and residents of GCC. During the meeting the works related to Technical Committee was reviewed and a number of topics was discussed ,as well as the significance of specifications presented ​​by a specialist in International Compliance Assurance Board.</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">It is noteworthy that this Committee was formed by virtue of a Decision from the Technical Council of GCC Standardization Organization issued in&nbsp; its 28th. meeting in Makkah on 30-31/12/2012 AD.</p>
