The SFDA Formed Common Work Groups with the Saudi Immigration

The SFDA formed common workgroups with the Saudi Immigration in order to build up a new strategic cooperation to enhance the SFDA role in the land borders of the Kingdom.
During the hostage of the SFDA to his Excellency the Saudi Immigration Administrative Mr. Saleh Alkhilaiwi and the accompanied delegation, the Acting Executive President of the SFDA d. Mohammed bin Ahmed Alkanhal reviewed the strategic plan of the SFDA and referred to the SFDA tendency towards attracting, training and sending abroad qualified national cadre whom shall help the SFDA in performing its duty and forming work groups to review regulations and systems that relate to SFDA mission in order to update them and suggest other new ones.
During the meeting, they argued about the rapid coordination between the SFDA and the Immigration Administration about determining designative places to the SFDA in the land borders to monitor medical devices, drugs, food and permit them rapidly. In addition, they discussed the possibility of re-classifying, determining goods land borders accesses, specifying determined places for medical devices and drugs accesses beside studying the requirements of applying the principle of one access between the GCC.
The attendance confirmed the importance of the electronic connection between the SFDA, Immigration Administration and borders accesses, and exchanging information between them which is linked to the Saudi project for electronic information exchanging.
His Excellency, the Saudi Immigration Administrator Mr. Saleh Alkhilaiwi welcomed the common cooperation with the SFDA to serve the country and citizens, facilitate goods accessing and facing forged goods. He also stated that the Immigration will set specified standards with the SFDA to ban such goods before arrival to the Kingdom.
