Method of use : It is allow using directly in the field ، It is allow using in factories

- Premix

Ingredients :   It contains more than one of the allowed feed additives, or it may be a mixture of the allowed feed additives and raw feed

Method of use :  It is allow using directly in the field if it is mixed with water or fodder, if the method of use is applicable, especially for mixtures destined for traditional breeding animals (camels - sheep - goats) in order to ensure that the product is use in a correct manner, It is allow using in factories

- Compound feed

Ingredients :  Contains a mixture of permitted feed additives and raw feed

Method of use :  Provides animal directly without mixing with water or feed

The Saudi Technical Regulation SFDA.FD/GSO 2233 “Requirements of nutritional labeling” stated in Item No. 5/2/1 that “food products consisting of one food ingredient such as rice, tea, coffee or sugar” are excluded from the application of the regulation.

• SFDA.FD/GSO 150-2 “Expiration dates for food products - Part 2 : Voluntary expiration dates”

The following technical regulation is related to food additives:

• SFDA.FD 2500 “Additives Permitted for Use in Food Stuffs”

The following technical regulations are related to food labeling:

• SFDA.FD/GSO 9 “Labeling of prepackaged food stuffs”.
• SFDA.FD/GSO 2233 “Requirements of nutritional labeling”
• SFDA.FD 2333 “Requirements for Health and Nutrition Claims”

In addition, the interested competent authorities shall sign the health certificate and send it to the SFDA. If the competent authority has any inquiry regarding the health certificate it can be discussed with SFDA.

The establishment has to fill the self-audit form stamped by the competent authority then sending it to the SFDA through the diplomatic channels. So that the technical team can study them.
