SFDA and King Saud University Host Scientific Meeting for Real-World Evidence Fellowship Program
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), in partnership with King Saud University (KSU), hosted a scientific meeting for Real-World Evidence Fellowship Program at the SFDA headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by H.E. the CEO of the SFDA, Prof. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, alongside a number of specialists, academic leaders, and representatives from relevant public and private sector entities.
Opening the event with a welcoming address, H.E. Prof. Aljadhey expressed his appreciation to the program’s organizers and technical teams. He highlighted that the fellowship represents a successful collaboration between the SFDA and KSU to build national capabilities in for Real-World Evidence and drug safety research. He added that the initiative plays a pivotal role in strengthening scientific and regulatory decision-making, while refining research methodologies grounded in reliable data.
The scientific program featured a workshop examining key challenges in for Real-World Evidence application, followed by presentations from fellowship participants showcasing specialized scientific projects. To mark the occasion, H.E. Prof. Aljadhey honored the program’s graduates and participants in recognition of their efforts in developing the program and enhancing its scientific and educational impact.
