Launch of SFDA application on iPhone

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">SFDA has launched it 1st. Version of SFDA Application on iPhone. The Application included information about SFDA and its mandate in addition to introduction of SFDA Sectors: Food Sector, Drug Sector and Medical Devices &amp; Products Sector. The Application observed easy access to News,Alerts and links to online services. The Application also include several videos and awareness and medical flyers.</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal, CEO of SFDA,&nbsp; highlighted the importance of increasing communication efficiency between SFDA &amp; Consumers at one hand and SFDA and stakeholders at the other hand as the&nbsp; official presence of SFDA on intelligent devices will accelerate access to SFDA news and alerts and online services.</p>

<p class="ms-rteElement-P">In the same context, Dr. Mohammed Al Eqaili, Assistant CEO of SFDA for Planning &amp; IT Sector added that the presence of Government entities through intelligent devices has become a necessity for communication with large public and stakeholder categories. Therefore, SFDA strategy included effective communication with the public through technology &amp; internet.</p>
