SFDA Warns about “ LABAIK” Product

<p align="justify">SFDA has collected several samples of LABAIK product, in the form of capsules, claimed by manufacturer to cure some acute cases of Gout, Rheumatism, Joints &amp; Spinal Cord pain in addition to remedy of cold, insomnia and fatigue. The manufacturer also claimed that the capsules help intestinal activity and reduce cholesterol. The product was analyzed in SFDA’s Laboratories and the results showed that it contained some herbs and pain killer substances with high concentrations, e.g. Paracetamol as well as “Phenylbutazone” which is one of the internationally restricted pain killers due to dangerous side-effects e. g. ( intestinal ulcers, kidney damage, internal hemorrhage or mouth ulcers)<br />
SFDA confirms that this product is not registered in the Kingdom and has never been released by SFDA , besides its components are unknown. Therefore, trading of this product is considered a violation to Pharmaceutical Products &amp;Organizations Regulations, issued by the Royal Decree No. M/31dated 1/6/1425 H , and its implementation by laws. SFDA has accordingly addressed the responsible entities to ban its entry and recall any available stocks from the market, forbid trading in this product and take the appropriate disciplinary action against anyone who imports, trades in or acquire this product.</p>

<p align="justify">SFDA advises consumers to refrain from using this product and dispose of any quantifies they may have in hand, in order to maintain their own safety and good health.</p>
