التطعيم المتوفر هو تطعيم الإنفلونزا ثلاثي السلالة يشتمل على نوعين من إنفلونزا A ونوع من إنفلونزا B، عند حقنه في جسم الإنسان ينشط جهاز المناعة لإنتاج أجسام مضادة للسلالات الثلاث السالف ذكرها. تلك الأجسام المضادة تكون مستعدة داخل الجسم لمنع العدوى في حالة التعرض للفيروس.
