Michelle Noonan


Michelle Noonan rejoined the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2021 as an International Policy Analyst in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).  In this position, she works on communications and policy activities related to technical and regulatory issues with foreign governments and international organizations.  She has extensive experience with medical devices, having spent almost 10 years as a Quality System Specialist with CDRH. 

Ms. Noonan has spent her 20+ year career working in various positions within the U.S. FDA and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), starting as a Field Investigator with the U.S. FDA in the Office of Regulatory Affairs.  She has also held positions as a Country Officer at CDC working with various countries in Africa and the Middle East on public health capacity building, as an Occupational Safety Specialist serving as the Safety Officer for CDC emergency responses, and as an Emergency Coordinator and a Compliance Officer with the U.S. FDA.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the University of Georgia.
