SFDA’s CEO Meets with President of German Paul-Ehrlich-Institut

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey met recently with President of Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) Dr. Klaus Cichutek.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides in the field of controlling vital medicines and its laboratories, research and training, and exchanging knowledge and scientific consultations.

Established in 1906, the PEI is considered one of the highest federal bodies in the field of medical products that provide services in the field of public health, evaluating and monitoring the balance of benefits and risks before, during and after marketing authorization for biological drugs for human use and immunological drugs for veterinary use. The PEI is also responsible for submitting its recommendations to the German Federal Ministry of Health.
