SFDA, KAUST Organize Joint International Conference on Trends in Microbiome and Digital One Health

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology(KAUST) organize their first joint international conference titled “Trends in Microbiome and Digital One Health” to be held from October 30th -November 1st, 2023, at KAUST, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Distinguished speakers from around the world and local experts will convene over a span of three days to explore the latest research encompassing the diverse aspects of Microbiome and One Health.
The conference will highlight how digital and computational resources can be effectively utilized to unite various research pillars, research groups, and entities in digitization of biological information for microbial epidemiological tracking. This helps improve the methodology of One Health for controlling the epidemics and reducing the infectious diseases that are transmitted from animals, food, and environment to humans.
Moreover, the conference will feature daily panel discussions with hot topics that will address the needs and wants of the local and international research community, with a special focus on Microbiomes, One Health and digitalization, aiming to achieve synergy with relevant government bodies.
It seeks to bring together leading Microbiome, and Digital One Health scientists and researchers to present their most recent findings and discuss key directions and ideas for fostering a robust and solid scientific community in Saudi Arabia and the world
