SFDA and Weqaya Sign Memorandum of Cooperation to Exchange Expertise in Shared Areas

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) yesterday, Wednesday, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with the Saudi Public Health Authority (Weqaya) to set an institutional framework that governs the exchange of expertise and collaboration areas between the two parties. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition 2025, which is currently being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme “Invest in Health,” and is set to continue until October 30.
The SFDA was represented during the signing ceremony by H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, the Chief Executive Officer, while H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Rashoud Alquzayni, the Chief Executive Officer, signed on behalf of Weqaya.
The MoC aims to enhance cooperation between the SFDA and Weqaya in areas of shared interest, in order to contribute to the achievement of national objectives in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key initiative of the Saudi Vision 2030.
