In line with SFDA Drug Sector concerns regarding creation of standard Drug Pricing mechanism for GCC countries, Drug Sector had participated in the 2nd. Meeting of GCC Drug Pricing Task Force, held in Kuwait during the period 11-12 Rabi II,1432H. SFDA was represented in this meeting by H.E Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Bawazir, Vice President for Drug Affairs and Pricing Unit executives
H.E Vice Minister of Labor, Dr. Abdul Wahid bin Khaled Al Hemaid opened on Sunday 12/6/1432H the 2nd. Saudi Exhibition of Employment & Occupational Qualification Opportunities organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry. During the event, the 18th. Batch of professional diplomas program , of the Chamber of Commerce Training Center, was graduated which included a number of SFDA employees who completed several Professional Training Programs organized by the Chamber of Commerce.
SFDA has participated in the First Makkah Pharmacological Conference by delivering several papers and establishment of a special exhibition stand in the medical exhibition that accompanied the conference, in addition of participation of several parties involved in drug industry, under the auspice of the General Manger of the Directorate of Health affairs in Makkah region, Dr. Khaled bin Ebeid Dhafr at Al Shohada’ Hotel in the Holy Capital, during the period 28-29/06/1432H , organized by Makkah Directorate for Health affairs
Organized by its Public Relations & Communications Department, SFDA has launched Blood Donation Campaign for SFDA employees at its head office premises, in cooperation with King Fahad Mdical City Blood Bank. The campaing lasted from Saturday 25/6/1432H to Wednesday 29/6/1432H.
This comes as SFDA contribution to support the local Blood Banks in order to satisfy patients needs and to strengthen the spirit of givining and volunteering works for the interest of our community as well as to enforce blood donation culture
إنطلاقاً من الدور التوعوي الذي تقوم به الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء ممثلة بقطاع الغذاء – الإدارة التنفيذية للرقابة على الغذاء المستورد، تود أن تحيط جميع المواطنين والمقيمين بأن مصلحة الحجر الصحي والتفتيش الأسترالية أوصت بوجوب امتثال التمور المجففة المستوردة إلى أستراليا (مع العفش المرافق أو المشحون) لشروط الاستيراد الرسمية بحيث لا تتجاوز نسبة رطوبة التمور 30% على أن تكون معدة ومعبئة تجارياً وفي حال عدم امتثالها لتلك الشروط تعتبر تموراً طازجة قد تكون مصابة بخنفساء الحبوب ، وان النظام الأسترالي لا يسمح بدخولها إلا بعد إخضاعها عند وصولها إلى عملية تبخير إلزامية بغض النظر عن وزن
شاركت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في مؤتمر مكة الأول للصيدلة عبر عدد من أوراق العمل وجناح خاص مشارك في المعرض الطبي المصاحب للمؤتمر بالإضافة إلى مشاركة عدد من الجهات المعنية بالدواء تحت رعاية مدير عام الشئون الصحية بمنطقة مكة المكرمة الدكتور/ خالد بن عبيد ظفر خلال الفترة من 28-29/6/1432هـ بتنظيم من مديرية الشؤون الصحية بمكة المكرمة في فندق الشهداء بالعاصمة المقدسة،
أجرت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء مؤخرا علي موقعها الإلكتروني استطلاع للرأي حول مدى حرص المستخدم على قراءة إرشادات استخدام الأجهزة الطبية التي تستخدم في المنازل ولقي الإستطلاع تفاعلا كبيرا من قبل زوار الموقع حيث بلغ عدد المشاركين في الإستطلاع 899 مشاركاً وبلغت نسبة من أجابوا بأنهم يطلعون على قراءة الإرشادات 76.97 بالمائة (692 صوتاً)، في حين بلغت نسبة الذين لا يحرصون على قراءة النشرة المرفقة مع الأجهزة الطبية المنزلية 23.03 بالمائة (207 صوتاً) .
