His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz the Crown Prince, the Vice President of Ministers Council, the Minister of Defense and Aviation, the General Inspector and the Chairman of the SFDA Board of Directors held in his office in the Ministry of Defense and Aviation the sixth meeting of the SFDA Board of Directors.
His Royal Highness Prince Muteb bin Abdulaziz the Minister of Municipality and Rural Affairs and the Vice Chairman Of the  SFDA Board of Directors attended the meeting with their Excellencies the Directors of the Board.

The Chief Executive Officer of the SFDA d. Mohammed bin Ahmed Alkanhal ensured to Ukaz newspaper that the SFDA concerned about setting an effective and perfect strategy that is comprehensive, realistic and flexible.

تنطلق فعاليات المؤتمر الثاني لسلامة الأغذية بعنوان "سلامة الأغذية وتحليل المخاطر " في الفترة من 20-22 فبراير 2007م بمركز المؤتمرات والمعارض قاعة أبو ظبي،تحت رعاية إدارة الصحة العامة ببلدية دبي.
 ويضم المؤتمر عدة متحدثين يمثلون سلطات الرقابة على الغذاء والمنظمات الدولية مثل منظمة الصحة العالمية وهيئة دستور الأغذية والدوائر العلمية والأكاديمية وشركات تصنيع الأغذية والعديد من الجهات ذات العلاقة بسلامة الأغذية.

The SFDA has raised a poll in its intranet portal about drugs prices in the K.S.A and it shows that 79% of voters believe that they are expensive, while 15% consider them accepted. The rate of those who chose the answer "I don’t know" reaches 5%, and 1% of voters think that the prices are cheap.
It worth mentioning that the SFDA raises periodically on its intranet portal polls related to consumers about food, drugs and medical devices. The new poll deals with food establishments and how they apply medical conditions.
