The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology(KAUST) organize their first joint international conference titled “Trends in Microbiome and Digital One Health” to be held from October 30th -November 1st, 2023, at KAUST, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Distinguished speakers from around the world and local experts will convene over a span of three days to explore the latest research encompassing the diverse aspects of Microbiome and One Health.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) intensified its field tours during the Hajj season this year 1444 AH, to inspect factories, warehouses, and food and water distribution centers in Makkah and Madinah, in order to ensure food safety and monitor any practices that may affect the safety of pilgrims.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA), and Malaysia, represented by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) in the field of mutual recognition of Halal Certificates for local products manufactured in both countries.
