Within the framework of continuous meetings organized by the SFDA (represented by its Drug sector) with related authorities, the first meeting with officials in ministries concerned with duties of monitoring and registering human and veterinary drugs has been held.
During the session that was held on Monday afternoon in Assalam Palace in Jeddah, headed by his Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Alsaud (May Allah Protect him), Ministers Council approved the appointment of new members in the SFDA Board of Directors to three years, since the validity of this decree, according to what follows:
First: representative members of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and they are:
1- Abdulaziz Alabdullah Almunajem
2- Faisal bin Farooq Tamer
3- Munther bin Tarad Alharthey
4- Fawaz bin Fahad Algusaibi
The SFDA has held a workshop entitled '' Food Services Offered to Pilgrims and how to Monitor them'' in Almadinah Almunawarah during the 17th to the 19th-10-1428H, coordinating with Almadinah Almunawarah Municipality. The workshop coincided with the arrival of first pilgrims multitude and aimed to develop workers performance in field of monitoring food and spread scientific reliable awareness among workers in field of food manufacturing as well as establishments that offer food services.
حصل موقع الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء على الانترنت ( www.sfda.gov.sa ) على المركز الأول في جائزة رقمي - فرع الصحة الالكترونية للعام 2007 م. وتأتي هذه الجائزة ثمرة للعمل الدؤوب والجهد المتواصل الذي قامت به الهيئة في سبيل تحقيق أعلى مستويات الجودة في تنفيذ وتشغيل الموقع، حيث تم تطوير وتطبيق آليات فعالة في نشر المقالات والأخبار ومتابعة أداء وفعالية الموقع بشكل دوري ومستمر.
The SFDA has held a celebration on Saturday, the 14th of Thulqida, 1427H, on the occasion of inaugurating the National Registry of Medical Devices and Products in the Kingdom. It was attended by representatives of governmental authorities and companies specialized in medical products and supplies.
يفتتح سعادة الرئيس التنفيذي المكلف للهيئة العامة للغذاء و الدواء الأستاذ الدكتور محمد بن أحمد الكنهل ورشة عمل علمية مخصصة لمناقشة طرق دراسة وتقييم دراسات ثباتية الأدوية و تستمر هذه الورشة يومي الأحد و الاثنين 22 - 23 / 11 /1428هـ الموافق 2 – 3 / 12 / 2007م .
