SFDA, represented by Medical Devices & Products Sector, participated in MedExpo S.A. 2012 held during the period 27-30 Rajab 1433 (17-20 June 2012) in Jeddah. The exhibition provided a platform for gathering of manufacturers, importers and consumers and for discussion of the latest developments and updates in the field of medical devices and products.
SFDA and all its employees extend their condolences to The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques and the Royal Family and to the Saudi Nation in the death of HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of SFDA Board of Directors, who passed away on Saturday 26/7/1433 .
SFDA shares the Saudi Nation, Arab & Muslim Nations in their grief and sorrow for the loss of the late HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, praying that The Almighty Allah may admit him to Paradise.

Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Assimi, signed today, Monday, 30/6/1433H a joint cooperation and strategic partnership agreement at the honorary University City Hall at Alseeh. The purpose of the agreement is to build a strategic cooperation relationship to regulate and facilitate cooperation between members of the two institutions and to define the scope of joint cooperation.
“Kuwait Health Care Technology Systems & Regulations Forum” , organized by Kuwaiti Engineers Association, was held in Kuwait on Thursday 19/6/1433H (10/5/2012) and hosted a delegation from SFDA Medical Devices and Products Sector.

SFDA has launched it 1st. Version of SFDA Application on iPhone. The Application included information about SFDA and its mandate in addition to introduction of SFDA Sectors: Food Sector, Drug Sector and Medical Devices & Products Sector. The Application observed easy access to News,Alerts and links to online services. The Application also include several videos and awareness and medical flyers.
SFDA will launch ‘Intoxication Forum’ event next Tuesday morning in Riyadh, under the banner: ‘ Let’s Protect Them from Intoxication” as part of the 4th.National Week for protection from intoxication. The forum is organized by SFDA Drug Sector represented by Consumer Awareness Department.
